Given the human cost of sexual assault, partner violence, and stalking on campus, Alteristic is unwavering in its commitment to partner with institutions in the implementation of an evaluation plan that measures progress, allowing for course corrections and maximizing the impact of the Green Dot Strategy implementation.
THE EVALUATION PLAN
Evaluation measures progress and informs course corrections to ensure maximum impact. Green Dot utilizes (1) pre- and post-surveys for every workshop (when capacity and infrastructure allow), and (2) follow-up surveys distributed twice each year. Alteristic’s evaluation team compiles and analyzes data and provides campus-specific, semi-annual Evaluation Reports. Technical assistance providers can review and provide recommendations. For institutions interested in a more nuanced picture of prevention efforts, evaluation focus groups and key-stakeholder interviews can be included.
TARGET OUTCOMES
The Green Dot evaluation plan is focused on progress, effectiveness, and impact. Short-term outcomes target participants’ satisfaction with programming, intentions to act, and changes in knowledge, skills and attitudes. Longer-term outcomes target actual changes in participants’ behaviors over time, actual changes and perceptions of campus climate, and how long new behaviors are sustained.

Strategy to Your Campus
The Green Dot for College Implementation Training certifies instructors and coordinators to implement Green Dot on their campus. The two-part training consists of (1) Coordinating Team Training, and (2) Instructor Training. Interested colleges can receive the training by hosting a College-Specific Training or sending a team to a Green Dot Institute. Building core knowledge and skills of a team maximizes positive outcomes.
COLLEGE-SPECIFIC TRAINING (CST)
CSTs can be a cost-effective option for colleges certifying large teams. The half-day, virtual Coordinating Team Training is comprised of multiple colleges, creating opportunities to exchange ideas and form ongoing networks of support. The two-day Instructor Training (virtual or in-person) is college-specific, allowing for a tailored experience. Supplemental courses, focused on prevention capacity building, can be added to CSTs.
Green Dot Institutes (GDI)
The Instructor Training component of the Green Dot Strategy is provided at GDIs and can be ideal for smaller teams or adding instructors to existing teams. The two-day training is offered on a rolling basis and open to any campus. The half-day Coordinating Team Training (virtual) is completed two weeks before the GDI. Individual colleges can schedule supplemental courses focused on prevention capacity building before or after a GDI.
