Bio


Dana Walton-Macaulay is currently Assistant Dean of Student Life and Director of Conduct and Community Standards at Portland State University. Previously she served as the Assistant Director of Student Conduct at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania. Dana has more than 20 years of professional experience in higher education including 13 years in Conduct and Residence Life at the University of Kentucky where she was Associate Dean of Students for Student Conduct and Hendrix College, where she was Assistant Director of Residential Life. She holds a J.D. from the William H. Bowen School of Law.

It’s all fun and games, until somebody gets hurt.  I say this to my children all the time, and I also say this at work all the time.  I think it accurately captures our responsibility to be intentional about supporting each other, and making sure that our actions and the actions of those around us do not harm others.

I LOVE to laugh.  I also enjoy finding joy in small and simple things, and I believe in humanity and that we are seeing the world change even as we live in it every day. It’s amazing!
